Launceston lock Mike Myerscough has joined the club full time.

The 22-year-old had been on dual registration from Premiership club Bath for the past 18 months.

"I have signed because I want to play a lot of rugby and want to help take this club back to League One where they should rightfully be," Myerscough said.

"Mike joined us during our last season in League Two and has been an outstanding lineout forward," said joint head coach Jon Hill.

The Cornish All Blacks have also signed tight-head prop Danny Porte and promoted flanker Ben Collings from the club's youth academy.

Porte is returning to rugby after a spell teaching in the Cayman Islands.

"Danny made well over 100 appearances in League One and also had a professional stint in France," said Hill.

"He will arrive in time for pre-season and is highly motivated to make a massive impression here at Polson."
