Vainikolo and Balshaw could play for the Baas-Baas at Kingsholm |
Discarded England duo Lesley Vainikolo and Iain Balshaw could play against the national side after being picked in a 30-man Barbarians squad. The Gloucester pair were left out of England's squad to tour New Zealand, but will now get the chance to showcase their talents for the Baa-Baas. Coached by Cardiff Blues boss David Young, the Baa-Baas should give a debut to former Wales captain Gareth Thomas. The Barbarians are taking on Belgium, Ireland and England. | 606: DEBATE |
The Belgium game is on 24 May, Ireland - at Gloucester's Kingsholm ground - on 27 May and England on 1 June. Three other England players - Danny Grewcock, Mark Regan and Andy Gomarsall - are also in the Barbarians squad.
