The Barbarians have announced they will play Ireland at Gloucester's Kingsholm ground on Tuesday 27 May. Kingsholm was chosen as an alternative to Landsdowne Road and Thomond Park, which are both being re-developed.
The Barbarians' team manager Alan Evans told BBC Radio Gloucestershire: "We suggested [to Ireland] that we came to a rugby hot-bed somewhere in the UK.
"One of the areas we hadn't been to recently was the West Country and we felt Kingsholm was an obvious place."
It will be Ireland's final warm-up game before they leave for their summer tour of Australia and New Zealand.
