Taylor has missed six months of rugby through injury |
Scotland have made five alterations in personnel for the visit of the Pacific Islanders to Murrayfield on Saturday. Skipper Jason White is sidelined with a knee injury, so full-back Chris Paterson returns to lead the side.
Simon Taylor has recovered from a long-term knee problem and replaces White in the only change to the pack.
Chris Cusiter and Dan Parks are paired as the half-back combination, while Andrew Henderson is back in his familiar inside centre berth.
Centre Rob Dewey, who scored a debut try against Romania, misses out with a knee injury but number eight Johnnie Beattie retains his place after an excellent debut.
Mike Blair, Phil Godman and Hugo Southwell are the men dropping to the bench.

The other changes are among the replacements, where hooker Ross Ford and lock Alastair Kellock come into the match-day 22.
Head coach Frank Hadden said: "It's obviously a blow to lose Jason but to be able to call upon Simon means that we have proven quality and experience in our back row.
"I know Simon well and I also trust the guidance of our medical team headed by Dr James Robson. I would never gamble on a player's fitness."
White saw an orthopaedics specialist on Tuesday, and was told the swelling in his knee should be allowed to settle before it is further re-assessed next week.
Hadden is expecting a tough test against the big-hitting Pacific Islanders.
"We have scored 114 points in our last two appearances at Murrayfield," added the coach.
"Wales had to play out of their skins to beat the Pacific Islanders last weekend.
"I think both sides are well set to produce an absolute cracker on Saturday."
