Wigan Warriors have offered professional deals to eight members of their youth team.

Connor Farrell, Chris Taylor, Dominic Manfredi, Dom Crosby, John O'Donnell, Tom Spencer, Ryan Hilliard and Jaydon Sandford have all joined the squad.

Warriors coach Michael Maguire told BBC Radio Manchester: "We are lucky enough to have a quality group coming through.

"We are always looking to the future and I think every club is doing the same thing."

He added: "We're just obviously looking forward and making sure that the club is in good hands and it's the whole club we are looking to develop here not just the top end.

"Everyone's playing well at the moment so it's pretty hard to change [the squad].

"There are players who are coming back and getting themselves fit again, so its a good position to be in."

Wigan currently sit top of the Super League with six games remaining having already guaranteed themselves a spot in this season's play-offs.
