Winterstein is set to have talks with Wakefield over his future at the club |
Wakefield front row Frank Winterstein could have played his last game for the club after being ruled out of the rest of the season with a broken jaw. The Samoa international arrived at the Wildcats mid-way through the season on a deal up until the end of the term. But the 22-year-old former Canterbury Bulldogs player was injured in a reserve-team match. "He's had a plate inserted in his jaw so it's unlikely he'll play again this season," said coach John Kinnear. The former Australia schoolboy has made just three appearances off the bench since his move to the Super League.
