Forward Steve Snitch has returned to Wakefield after a two-year spell with Super League rivals Huddersfield. The 24-year-old, who began his career at Belle Vue before moving to the Giants in 2006, has signed a two-year deal with the Wildcats. Coach John Kear said: "Steve is another great addition to our squad and will add strength in depth. "He's got plenty of experience playing Super League and we're looking forward to having him at the club." Snitch has made over 120 Super League appearances and can play at either second row or prop forward. | 606: DEBATE |
The Wildcats have also secured forward Kyle Bibb's signature on a two-year extension to his current contract, keeping him at Belle Vue until 2010. The 20-year-old prop forward joined from Hull FC in 2007 and made his Super League debut this year. He went on to make nine more appearances including two in the Challenge Cup where he scored two tries for the club in the win over Barrow. Kear said: "Kyle's progressed immensely this year, getting a number of first-team games under his belt and he really stood up to the challenge. "He has great potential and to secure him for another two years is excellent news for the club."
