Adebayo Akinfenwa equalised in stoppage time to earn 10-man Northampton a draw.

Ryan Gilligan cleared off the line from Phil Jevons, who also hit a first-time shot just wide as Huddersfield created the better chances in the first half.

Jevons scored with a 25-yard free-kick after the break and the hosts looked beaten when Jason Crowe was sent off for a trip on Gary Roberts.

But Akinfenwa drove home the equaliser from the edge of the box in the third minute of injury time.
