Huddersfield Town's Andy Booth will make the next stage of his comeback from back surgery in Tuesday's friendly at Premier League side Blackburn.
The 35-year-old striker made his first appearance in three months as a sub in Saturday's draw at Northampton.
Town manager Lee Clark told BBC Radio Leeds: "He got 10 minutes under his belt, made a great contribution and we can now build on that.
"He is still hungry and that's what I want and he is great to have involved."
Town are expected to field a strong line-up for the behind-closed-doors game.
Clarke added: "This game will be a big test for the players and will be very beneficial for all concerned.
"It will be a learning experience for the younger lads and a good test for the more experienced boys.
These are the type of games I want now and I'll be looking to have more games like this."
