Huddersfield have signed Watford striker Lionel Ainsworth and Stockport midfielder Anthony Pilkington for undisclosed fees.

Pilkington, 20, has signed for three-and-a-half years, while Ainsworth, 21, has signed for two-and-a-half years.

"They are outstanding young footballers but they are hungry to do better," Town boss Lee Clark told BBC Radio Leeds.

"We feel they can come on a journey with us at Huddersfield and compete at higher levels successfully."

Both have joined for undisclosed fees but neither player will be available for Saturday's FA Cup clash at Leicester City.
