Tony Puletua has two tries for St Helens in 11 appearances this season
St Helens forward Tony Puletua says he is still to decide whether he will remain with the club next season.
The 31-year-old joined Saints from Penrith in 2009 and is out of contract at the end of the campaign.
"Hopefully we'll have an answer for that in the next few weeks," Puletua told BBC Radio Merseyside.
Meanwhile, Saints have suffered another injury, stand-off Lee Gaskell having been ruled out for six weeks following confirmation of a fractured ankle.
The 20-year-old suffered the injury in the 52-6 Super League victory over Wakefield on Friday night - in-form Saints' fifth win on the spin.
His absence further weakens a Saints squad currently missing joint skipper James Graham, Bath-bound Kyle Eastmond, Josh Perry, Paul Clough, Shaun Magennis and Gary Wheeler.

St Helens coach Royce Simmons on speculation over Leon Pryce
Added to that, stand-off Leon Pryce, 29, also in the final year of his current deal, has also been linked with a move down under.
But Saints coach Royce Simmons is not surprised by the speculation and, ahead of Friday's short trip to Wigan, claims that the player's only priority at the moment is getting fit again.
"Leon is just trying to get back on the park," said Simmons. "We have just told him to get back on the park and settle down there first, get some game time and then we'll sit down and talk about things.
"He has spoken to the chairman and that is where they have left it."
As for Puletua, named as Brian McClennan's fourth selection for the 22-man Exiles squad that will take on England in the International Origin match in June, he admits: "There are a few things I need to discuss with my family back home.
"There are a few things we need to take into consideration.
"The club's been great for me and for my family and helped us settle in the UK. That was a very important thing for us coming from half way around the world.
"It was always important for people here to make us feel welcome. That's how the people have been here at St Helens."
