Myler has scored a try in each of the Reds' last three games |
Salford City Reds coach Shaun McRae has said he is worried scrum-half Richie Myler could be targeted by a big club. The 19-year-old, who is in his second season with the club after moving from Widnes, scored more than 20 tries in his first year with the Reds. McRae told BBC Radio Manchester: "There will be people at other clubs saying 'is Richard Myler available?' "Yes he is, of course he is. Someone will say he's only got a year on his contract, what if they throw cash in?" He added: "Steve Simms is director of rugby and he has a job now to try to keep Richard at the club but that's not that easy. "The bottom line is we want Richard Myler here because he is the sort of player you build a club around."
