Ward made 21 appearances for Hull KR after joining from Castleford |
Former Hull KR and Leeds prop Danny Ward has signed for Harlequins on a two-year deal. The 27-year-old, who earned a Great Britain cap in 2004, was released by Hull KR at the end of this season.
Harlequins coach Brian McDermott has described Ward as "a no-nonsense, tough and uncompromising prop."
He added: "Danny is looking to get back to the game he had that saw him win a Grand Final, win a World Club Challenge and play for Great Britain."
Ward, who joins fellow new signings Henry Fa'afili and Gareth Haggarty at the Stoop said: "I'm really excited. It's going to be a big change moving down to London.
