Stand-off Blake Green targets top four for Hull KR

Green is expected to make his debut against Hull FC in Cardiff in February

New Australian half-back Blake Green believes Hull Kingston Rovers can finish in the Super League's top four next season.

The 24-year-old former Canterbury Bulldog is certain the Robins can improve on last season's seventh.

Green told BBC Radio Humberside: "My goals and expectations are pretty high.

"Most clubs would have a goal of being in the top four and that's definitely one of ours, and the Challenge Cup is one of ours as well."

Green signed for the Robins after rejecting the offer of a new contract with the Bulldogs. He has made a total of 43 Australian NRL appearances for Parramatta, Cronulla and Canterbury.

He added: "We know what we want to achieve and I'm pretty confident with the bunch of people we have we can go close."
