Hull KR have filed accounts showing accumulated debts of more than £3m. The accounts, filed late to Companies House, show the Robins had debts of £3.16m up to the end of November 2008. They do not take into account the 2009 season, during which chairman Neil Hudgell has already admitted the club made a loss of around £450,000. Hudgell has previously hinted that board members have been prepared to underwrite the debts and fund investment in the playing squad. The accounts also show that £2,284,107 owed to creditors is due to be repaid within a year. The club hope to generate an extra £200,000 a year in gate receipts with a £750,000 extension of the East Stand, which will take the capacity of Craven Park to 11,700.
