Fox hopes to feature for England against France next month |
Hull Kingston Rovers wing Peter Fox has signed a new three-year contract to keep him at the club until 2012. The 24-year-old has scored 24 tries in 37 appearances for Rovers and hopes that remaining at Craven Park will boost his England prospects. "There is so much professionalism here I feel this is the club that will help with my England career," he told the Hull KR website. Fox made his England debut in October 2008 against Wales. "[England coach] Tony Smith only picks in-form players and I know I can challenge for a spot while being here," he added. Since joining Rovers in 2008 the former Leeds, York and Wakefield player has amassed 96 points in total and already has nine tries to his name in this season's Super League competition.
