Cooke set for wrist injury scan

Cooke faces time on the sidelines with a wrist injury

Hull KR half-back Paul Cooke is set to have a scan on the wrist injury he sustained in the Robins' pre-season friendly with Salford.

Cooke has played with the problem in the opening two games of the season.

But coach Justin Morgan told BBC Look North: "We have to send him for a scan and get some rest for him so that's a big blow."

It means Cooke will miss Friday's trip to St Helens, where Chaz I'Anson is set to replace the England international.

Morgan added: "It doesn't seem to be a break or ligament [damage] in there at the moment but the scan will give us a little bit more information."
