Cordoba made his NRL debut in 2006 |
Hull FC have signed Parramatta Eels prop Josh Cordoba until the end of the season, reports BBC Radio Humberside. The 25-year-old has played over 50 games in the NRL and Black and Whites coach Richard Agar says his arrival helps them out at a critical time. "Obviously with the injuries to Cusack, Dowes and Thackray we have been left very light in the front row," he said. "Josh will help shore us up in that department. He's a good player and is looking forward to getting here." Cordoba is regarded by many in Australia as a strong but mobile forward and has made nine appearances for Daniel Anderson's side so far this season. He also holds a Spanish passport which will prevent any complications over a visa so he can join the club immediately.
