Loose forward Washbrook is a Hull academy product |
Hull FC will check on the fitness of both Todd Byrne and Danny Washbrook ahead of Friday night's clash with Catalan Dragons. Sydney-born utility back Byrne picked up a knee injury in Hull's 28-20 win at Celtic Crusaders, while loose forward Washbrook suffered a hamstring stain. Head coach Richard Agar told the BBC's Super League Show: "We have to check on both players early this week. "But we're fairly confident both will be fine for the weekend." Hull's win in Wales made it two wins from two after their opening round win at home to Wigan. Agar added: "So far so good for us with two wins from two. But like everyone else we have some polishing up to do. "As the season goes on I'm sure we'll improve in a number of areas, but we can't complain with the start we've had. "It's nice to have the majority of the squad fit, unlike last season, and that makes a real difference." You can watch the The Super League Show again on the BBC iPlayer or via the BBC Red Button.
