Manu scored eight tries in 22 appearances this season |
Hull have signed Tonga international forward Willie Manu from Castleford on a two-year deal after the Tigers' relegation from Super League. The 26-year-old becomes Hull's fourth signing for 2007 after Matt Sing, Hutch Maiva and Wayne Godwin.
"He is an excellent runner out wide and will certainly contribute to our pack," said coach Peter Sharp.
"He's a big unit who has good feet and will give us attacking options, that's for sure."
Manu is the latest in a string of players to leave The Jungle following the Tigers' second relegation in three seasons.
Waine Pryce and Danny Sculthorpe have joined Wakefield, with Paul Handforth going to Featherstone.
Other leading players are also expected to follow them out the door, despite coach Terry Matterson's decision to stay on and try to win promotion.
