Huddersfield Giants coach Nathan Brown may start the new season without a replacement for Todd Carney after the Australian was refused a visa.

Brown told BBC Radio Leeds that they are looking for a replacement, but it must be the right sort of player.

"We've got a few ideas of where we may or may not like to go.

"If something comes up that can improve our squad we'll take it - if there's nothing out there then we're not going to waste our money," he said.
