Higgins joined the Tigers from Hull FC at the end of the 2006 season

Castleford Tigers front-rower Liam Higgins has been ruled out for between two to four weeks.

The 25-year-old sustained knee ligament damage in Friday's win at Wigan.

Meanwhile skipper Ryan Hudson will face no further action after being put on report during the 28-22 victory at the JJB Stadium.

Hudson came into contact with referee Steve Ganson but replays were inconclusive, he was given the benefit of the doubt and a warning.
