Bradford have recalled Matt James from his loan spell at Halifax after just one match of his season-long loan deal.

Injuries to Andy Lynch, David Solomona and Jamie Langley mean that the 21-year-old prop could be back into action against Huddersfield on Friday.

The Wales international made a try-scoring debut for Halifax on Sunday in the Northern Rail Cup.

Meanwhile Bradford must decide whether to recall winger Dave Halley from Super League rivals Wakefield.

And they could also agree to a request from the Wildcats to extend his loan period beyond the original month, which expires after this weekend.
