Massey aims to increase his number of Super League appearances next term |
Castleford Tigers prop Nathan Massey has signed a new two-year contract which will keep him at the Jungle until the end of the 2011 season. The 20-year-old has made four appearances for the Tigers in Super League 14 but has spent the last two months on loan at Gateshead. He made his Castleford debut in 2008 before going full-time in 2009. Massey is the latest player to sign a new deal following on from James Evans and Michael Wainwright. | I'm hoping to get more games for the Tigers next season |
Massey said: "I am pleased to be staying with the Tigers, it's a good club and I have enjoyed my time with them. "At the moment I feel that I am getting some really good experience with Gateshead but I'm hoping to get more games for the Tigers next season." Tigers coach Terry Matterson added: "Nathan continues to improve and we are looking forward to him gaining some more Super League experience next season."
