Solomona (left) and Langley picked up their injuries in the draw with Hull KR |
Bradford Bulls second row forward David Solomona will be out for up to three months as he needs surgery on his dislocated shoulder. Solomona, 31, picked up the injury in the 13-13 draw with Hull KR. Forward Jamie Langley also dislocated his shoulder against Rovers but is expected to return within three weeks. "It's disappointing to suffer two injuries like this so early on, they were just two freakish injuries," said Bulls coach Steve McNamara. "You keep your fingers crossed, do all the rehab and try and prevent them. We've just got to get on with it as a squad and that's what we're doing." On Langley's injury, McNamara added: "He'll rehab and be a relatively short period of time, probably another two weeks, maybe three." It will mean changes for Friday's game against the Huddersfield Giants, with Matt Cook likely to start in place of 25-year-old Langley. Fellow second-row Mike Worrincy will debut off the bench after being 18th man against Hull KR.
