Wigan 26-32 Leeds

The Rhinos secured home advantage in the Tetley's Super League play-offs with a thrilling victory at the JJB Stadium.

Trailing 16-0 early on, the visitors clinched the points when Danny McGuire scored his second try of the night three minutes from time.

Keith Senior also scored two tries as Leeds hit back to beat an under-strength Warriors, who were already assured a third place in the table.

Wigan looked to have the game under control with five tries from as many players and three goals from Danny Tickle.

They raced ahead with three tries in the opening 20 minutes, the first touchdown coming from Gary Connolly after just two minutes.

Craig Smith was rewarded for his early rampages with his side's second try eight minutes later after great work by Adrian Lam.

Leeds were then breached for a third time as Shaun Briscoe finished off a flowing move in the corner.

The Rhinos hit back with a try from Wayne McDonald on 24 minutes that the recalled Ben Walker converted.

A second followed through Andy Hay after a scintillating break by Mark Calderwood.

But Wigan began the second half in stunning fashion, touching down twice within four minutes of the restart.

I'm disappointed more for the players than myself
Wigan coach
Stuart Raper

The first came almost immediately after the kick-off, with Sean O'Loughlin going over.

Martin Aspinwall followed suit within moments after Senior failed to deal with a crossfield kick from Lam.

Senior made amends with his first try, quickly followed by McGuire, whose score was created by a quick break from Rob Burrow.

Senior then powered over for his second 10 minutes from time, with Ben Walker's brilliant touchline conversion levelling the scores.

McGuire's try then sealed the points for Daryl Powell's men, who will now host Hull in the first round of play-off matches.
