Moran magic sinks Hull
Dennis Moran has been in top form for the Broncos
Moran kept London's play-off hopes alive
London 10-6 Hull

Denis Moran's try three seconds from time gave London a crucial two points in the battle for a Super League play-off place.

The win moved the Broncos up into sixth spot with just two rounds of the regular season remaining.

Moran opened the scoring after 10 minutes, taking advantage of some static Hull defending to touch down.

Both sides then wasted chances to trouble the scorers before Hull got off the mark in the 61st minute.

Jason Hetherington gave away the ball 30 metres from his own line and Paul King eventually forced his way over.

Matt Crowther kicked the conversion to give Hull a barely deserved lead.

Six minutes later, the visitors should have scored again, but a brilliant ankle tap by Moran brought Richard Horne to the ground.

Although Paul Parker touched down, the in-goal judge ruled the ball had gone forward from Horne.

Then came Moran's dramatic score in the dying moments.

There were just three seconds left when Michael Gillet popped the ball up for Moran to burst through a small chink in the Hull defence.

Paul Sykes kicked the conversion to seal a memorable win.
