Injured Graham out of Tri-Nations
James Graham
The injury is a sad end to a successful season for Graham
St Helens' prop James Graham will miss Great Britain's Tri-Nations trip to New Zealand and Australia after suffering an arm injury.

The 21-year-old, who was voted Super League young player of the year last week, sustained the injury in Saturday's Grand Final win over Hull.

Graham's misfortune could mean a call up for Warrington's Paul Wood.

The Saints player marked his Great Britain debut with two tries in the 46-14 win over New Zealand in June.

Graham is the second withdrawal from Noble's final selection after second-rower Paul Johnson was replaced by Salford's Andy Coley after failing to recover from an ankle injury.

Graham's Saints team-mates Lee Gilmour, Sean Long, Leon Pryce, James Roby, Paul Wellens and Jon Wilkin and the Hull quartet of Garreth Carvell, Richard Horne, Gareth Raynor and Kirk Yeaman will fly out to Australia on Tuesday along with GB coach Brian Noble.

They will link up with the 18-strong advance party already in Sydney preparing for Friday's warm-up match against a Newcastle Select XIII.

Great Britain begin their Tri-Nations campaign against New Zealand in Christchurch on 28 October.

GB squad for Tri-Nations:
