Roby lost five kilos after being hit by a virus early in the season |
St Helens half-back James Roby has been ruled out for up to six weeks after suffering knee ligament damage. It is the latest setback for the 20-year-old, who had been named in a 20-man squad for Saturday's Challenge Cup fifth-round match against Bradford.
Earlier this season, he was admitted to hospital after being struck down by a virus and lost five kilos of weight.
Roby is now a major doubt for Great Britain's Test against New Zealand at Knowsley Road on Tuesday, 27 June.
