No 4: 1983, Featherstone 14-12 Hull

Ray French selects his top 10 Challenge Cup final shocks.

RAY FRENCH'S TOP SHOCKS

RF: "Featherstone had no overseas players but still managed to humble the mighty Hull, who boasted three top Kiwis in James Leuluai, Dane O'Hara and Gary Kemble.

"Steve Quinn and David Hobbs proved to be the key men for Rovers, who somehow managed to silence the 20,000 Hull fans who had made the trip to Wembley.

"Quinn kicked four goals while Lance Todd Trophy winner Hobbs scored two tries to give the small mining town only their third Challenge Cup success."
