Doran featured for Ireland at the 2008 Rugby League World Cup

Whitehaven 2010 have signed Ireland international and former Widnes second row Lee Doran on a one-year deal.

The 29-year-old, who played at the 2008 World Cup with Ireland, made the 2010 Championship team of the season but left Vikings in August.

"I am delighted that Lee has signed for us," head coach David Seeds said of Vikings' player of the year for 2010.

"Our form lately has improved dramatically and he will add massively to our forward power."

Doran, who was born in Wigan, also lists Oldham, Rochdale and Leigh among his former clubs.
