Hull KR's Jake Webster loses two-match ban appeal

Hull KR centre Jake Webster has lost his appeal against a two-game ban imposed by the Rugby Football League for dangerous contact.

Webster faces a £300 fine and will lose a £200 bond put up prior to the appeal.

The ban followed an incident during Sunday's 24-22 defeat against Warrington in which he put Chris Riley at an unacceptable risk of injury.

Wakefield hooker Julien Rinaldi was fined £500 for a dangerous tackle on Catalan Dragons prop David Ferriol.

The hearing found the French international guilty of a tackle which placed undue pressure on Ferriol's shoulder during the Wildcats' 38-14 victory over the Dragons in Perpignan on Saturday.
