York City Knights have signed prop forward Ben Parkinson from Leeds Rhinos for the rest of the season. The 20-year-old plays in the Super League club's under-20s side but will be too old next season and needs first-team experience. York have several forwards unavailable with long-term injury, while Alex Benson is suspended. However, Parkinson himself is carrying a shoulder injury and is unlikely to feature against Workington on Sunday.
