Joe faces a spell out on the sidelines with an ankle break |
Whitehaven suffered a double blow in their 17-16 Northern Rail Cup pool defeat by Keighley, after captain Leroy Joe broke an ankle during the game. X-rays showed that the 35-year-old had suffered a break and will now attend a fracture clinic to assess his recovery. Haven ran in three tries, with Carl Mattinson, Craig Calvert and Spencer Miller on the mark. However the kicking of Danny Jones for Keighley with five goals plus two tries were too much for the Marras.
