Doncaster plan gets RFL approval

Rugby League

Doncaster are free to plan for the 2010 Championship One season after their business plan was approved by the Rugby Football League.

The club finished this season on minus one point in the Championship after going into administration.

"The board were impressed by much of the work Doncaster have done," said RFL director of development Gary Tasker.

"Doncaster are an important member of the rugby league family. It is imperative that they make it work."

Doncaster chief executive Carl Hall added: "We are very grateful to the RFL board of directors for its support and pleased that they have shown faith in us."
