Chesterfield have signed defender Mark Little from Premier League side Wolves on an emergency one-month loan deal.
The 21-year-old, who has represented England at under-19 level, could make his debut in Tuesday's Johnstone's Paint Trophy clash with Huddersfield.
"He has played at Championship level and he's only young, but he's a very good player," Spireites manager John Sheridan told BBC Radio Sheffield.
"He will make us a stronger outfit, and add a bit of competition."
Little is a product of Wolves' youth system and has made 19 league starts for the Molineux club.

He said: "I've been injured for a while and have played a few reserves games but it's totally different when you are playing someone's first team.
"There are different pressures, different crowds. I want to get back fit and get some games under my belt."
