Knights recruit two more players

York City Knights

York City Knights have added two more players to their squad for 2010.

Back row Matthew Duckworth, 20, arrives from Castleford Tigers while Paul Stamp, 21, who plays half-back or hooker, joins from Hull FC.

Both players have appeared for their former clubs' respective under-21 reserve grade teams.

It brings the number of players signed by the Knights for next season to 24 and club officials said there will be more to come.

Meanwhile scrum-half Danny Grimshaw and second-row forward Rob Kelly have left the club to join Hunslet Hawks.

They will link up with former Knights' player/coach Paul March at the South Leeds Stadium.
