York City Knights have added two more players to their squad for 2010. Back row Matthew Duckworth, 20, arrives from Castleford Tigers while Paul Stamp, 21, who plays half-back or hooker, joins from Hull FC. Both players have appeared for their former clubs' respective under-21 reserve grade teams. It brings the number of players signed by the Knights for next season to 24 and club officials said there will be more to come. Meanwhile scrum-half Danny Grimshaw and second-row forward Rob Kelly have left the club to join Hunslet Hawks. They will link up with former Knights' player/coach Paul March at the South Leeds Stadium.
