Birmingham Bulldogs stay in contention for the Conference Midlands Premier League play-offs after a 70-6 victory over nine-man Gloucestershire Warriors. The Warriors sportingly honoured the fixture despite being four players short, but conceded 12 tries. Winger Adam Walker helped himself to a first half hat-trick, Jermaine Bernard and Clinton Tull also crossing twice. Scrum-half Danny Bancroft notched two tries and kicked 11 conversions for a 30-point personal haul. The other try-scorers for the Bulldogs were Mike Jones, Lea Ross and Pete Fulthorpe. The Warriors efforts were rewarded by a second-half score for Simon Brown, converted by Matt Elston. Birmingham's next game promises to be a more challenging encounter as they visit Bristol.
