Widnes Vikings coach Paul Cullen says his side's concentration needs to improve following their 23-16 defeat to Leigh on Thursday evening.
The Vikings have lost their last three matches and the coach says his side are undoing all their hard work.
"The discipline was right and we're working very hard, then all of a sudden we implode," Cullen told BBC Radio Merseyside following the defeat.
"Mentally there is a weakness in our side that's allowing it to happen."
Cullen added: "We were dominating in the tackle, we're off side, we get marched back down the field and we defend the full set. Then we switch off on a kick through our line.
"Then a back row forward kicks and chases and gets his touch down. We need to work a bit harder to be more honest and we've got to be smarter."
Widnes Vikings next match is against Gateshead Thunder in the Co-operative Championship at the Stobart Stadium on Saturday, 23 May.
