Barrow Raiders boss Dave Clark has told his side they have five games to save their National League Two title bid after Sunday's 38-6 loss to Rochdale.
The defeat was their third in four games and Clark has called on his side to regain their focus for Saturday's match against rivals Gateshead Thunder.
"If we perform like that and allow sides to out-enthuse us then we'll struggle," he told BBC Radio Cumbria.
"We have to concentrate hard, but it's in our hands still."
Clark believes that a lack of fresh faces at Craven Park has put strain on his squad but believes they have the mentality to overcome the recent mini-slump.
"The players are playing with niggly injuries. I know Des is trying to bring in players but it's hard where we are geographically," said Clark.
"However the players have shown they can perform at a level and compete really well. We've got to move on."
