Keighley Cougars and Celtic Crusaders fought out a thrilling draw at Cougar Park. Although the Crusaders won the try count by six to five, the boot of Keighley's Welsh international Barry Eaton earned the home side a point.
Crusaders took the lead after only two minutes, a fine passing move involving Tony Duggan and Luke Young culminating with Carl de Chenu diving home in the corner.
Duggan increased Crusaders' lead six minutes later, scoring under the sticks after being beautifully set up by Geraint Davies.
Crusaders lost possession following a forward pass allowing Keighley to get back into the game, Eaton setting up Mick Fogarty to run through under the posts.
Phil Stephenson was then tackled metres from the line by Phil Cushion, but from the next play - the fifth tackle - Eaton made a pin-perfect kick for Fogarty to run home.
Crusaders regained the lead on 23 minutes with a well-worked try under the sticks from Matt Jobson following excellent support work from the virtually the whole team.
On the half-hour, Michael Ryan set up Anthony Seibold for a try under the sticks. Quinn converted both to give the Crusaders a 10-point lead.
Keighley battled hard to get a try back before half-time but to no avail.
Duggan performed heroics, intercepting a pass that would have been a certain score while Fogarty missed a hat-trick opportunity as he knocked on with a clear run to the line.
But straight after the interval Luke Sutton set up Marco Ferrazzano to go over.
Following a delay due to an injury to Luke Young, Crusaders extended their lead after Michael Ryan forced the ball over despite being under pressure at the time.
They scored again on 58 minutes, De Chenu grabbing his second following excellent work from Seibold and Davies to set up the try.
Keighley hit back almost straight away after Fogarty created a try under the sticks for Gavin Duffy, while Scott Nixon set up Dave Norcross to go over four minutes later, Eaton converting both to level the scores.
The last five minutes were full of attempts to win the game.
Crusaders' Michael Hook's drop-goal attempt went just past the post, while Eaton and Duffy's drop-goal attempts for Keighley were superbly blocked.
Phil Stephenson also had a last-second try disallowed for offside and the match ended in a creditable draw.
Crusaders coach John Dixon said: "Some of the tries were spectacular and the game itself was outstanding.
"We were up against a very parochial crowd and the travel for us this week was very demanding.
"National League Two is a very impressive competition and this game was a fantastic game for the spectators and played in an absolutely superb spirit by the players."

Crusaders' local Bridgend school Brynteg High have reached the national Powergen Champions Schools final for the second year in a row.
Last year their year seven side won the Cup at the Millennium Stadium, beating Castleford High 40-10.
Now, one year older, the team shows no sign of losing their talent after beating Wigan's St Peters Catholic High School 36-10 in the year eight semi-final on Wednesday.
This year's final will be held in London at the end of August, with Castleford High again the opponents.
