Celtic Crusaders christened Aberavon's Talbot Athletic Ground on Sunday with a win over Hunslet Hawks in the LHF Healthplan National League Two. Playing their first 'home' game away from their usual Brewery Field ground, Crusaders romped into a 24-0 lead.
Matt Jobson, Luke Young, Michael Ryan and Karl Hocking all crossed for early tries in a 24-minute purple patch.
Hunslet did raise their game, but the Crusaders added further scores from Tony Duggan and a second from Ryan.
In a curtain-raiser, the Crusaders' Academy side produced a creditable display in a 34-14 loss to Great Britain Under-18s.
