Celtic Crusaders sent out a warning to the rest of their Northern Rail Cup opponents with a demolition job on the road at St Albans Centurions. Damien Quinn led the way for the Welsh side, crossing twice and converting all 12 of the Crusaders' tries.
Centurions had already had Dene Miller sin-binned before Quinn opened the scoring, but then had Corey Bennett sent off for stamping in the tackle.
The home side kept the score to 24-0 at half-time, but then were overrun.
