Britain's men's curlers booked their semi-final spot despite losing their last two matches to fellow qualifiers the United States and Finland. David Murdoch's side went down 9-8 to the Americans and 5-2 to Finland but all three teams reached the last four.
Britain ended on six wins but could be pushed to fourth if Canada win their match against USA at 1300GMT on Monday.
In the semi-finals, first from the round robin will play fourth, while the second team meets the third.
Britain went 3-0 down to Finland after three ends and though they grabbed a stone back in the fifth, their opponents closed out the match with an end to spare.
Against the USA on Sunday morning, Murdoch's men trailed 6-1 after three ends but narrowed the gap to two points after the fifth end.
The Americans picked up three more points after the seventh end but Britain fought back hard, winning the last three ends.
In other matches on Sunday, Finland beat Italy 7-4, Norway won 9-6 against New Zealand, Germany edged Sweden 7-5, Canada trounced New Zealand 9-1, Sweden lost 3-8 to Switzerland and Norway won 5-2 against Germany.
Monday's other final round robin matches see Switzerland play Italy and New Zealand take on Germany.
