Britain continue their impressive form in Turin |
Great Britain's men's curling team eased past Sweden 8-2 for their fifth win in six matches at the Winter Games. David Murdoch's side had little trouble brushing aside their Swedish opponents, who conceded after just seven ends.
They dominated from the start, racing to a 4-0 lead before the gap was reduced to 4-2 in the third end.
Three more in the fourth and one in the seventh was enough for Swedish skip Peja Lindholm to call it a day and leave Britain topping the standings.
Britain are now top of the men's standings after Canada fell to a 8-7 defeat against Finland. Every team will have nine round-robin games, with the best four moving forward to the knock-out stages.
