Jacqueline Slack won the first event of the series at Strathclyde Park |
Stoke-on-Trent's Jacqueline Slack believes she can maintain her lead at the top of the British Triathlon Series and go on to win the event. Slack followed up her victory at Strathclyde Park with a fifth-place finish at Blenheim on Sunday. "The race went well, although the swim wasn't as good as the one I had in Strathclyde so I was a bit disappointed about that," she told BBC Radio Stoke. "I'm leading the series and I've got a good chance of winning it overall." The final three races take place at Windsor on Suday, 13 June, London on 8 August and Parc Bryn Bach on 19 September. The top three results for each competitor will be taken into account in the overall standings.
