Guernsey's Alice Loveridge has continued her strong run of form by winning the women's Band One tournament at the Bristol Grand Prix.

The 16-year-old beat Vicky Smith in the final, adding to her recent Six Nations International singles title.

Loveridge had to come from behind to beat Smith, who took the first game 11-5, with the Sarnian taking the next three 11-5 11-5 11-8 to win.

In the Men's Open draw Guernsey's Gary Dodd was knocked out in the last 16.

Dodd won his group, before beating Sussex's Rory Scott in the second round.

However, he came up against the 11th seed, Emran Hussein, in the last 16, where, despite wining the first game, he was unable to close out the match, Hussein eventually winning in the decider.
