Rawlinson confident ahead of Island Games

Teenage Isle of Man swimmer Olivia Rawlinson says her ambition is to win four gold medals at next week's Island Games in Aland.

The 17-year-old is ranked number one in five events and despite having just taken her GCSE examinations is confident she can achieve her goal.

"I'm not going to lie, it has been difficult to balance my training and my revision.

"But I want to to both, so I really hope all my hard work will pay off."

Rawlinson represented the Isle of Man at the 2006 Commonwealth Games in Melbourne and in doing so became the youngest ever Manx athlete to participate.

The young swimmer made her international debut at the Shetland Island Games in 2005 at the age of just 13.
