Sarah Rigby won the Isle of Man team's first archery medal at the 2009 Island Games in Aland on Tuesday. The 35-year-old clinched the medal in the Single FITA Women's Compound. Rigby finished ahead of Sigrid Kristianna Vang from the Faroe Islands and Sara Leith from the Shetlands, who took silver and bronze respectively. The Manx squad currently has 23 medals, nine of them gold, and is placed fifth in the medal table with the Faroe Islands leading the way.
