Marshall will swim in the 200m freestyle in Montreal |
Mel Marshall was one of four British swimmers to secure qualification for next month's World Championships at the final trials in Swansea. Marshall swam one minute 58.25 seconds to win the 200m freestyle final.
Scot David Carry achieved the time he needed in the 400m freestyle as did Kate Haywood in the 100m breaststroke.
Chris Cook qualified for the 50m breaststroke, with the women's 4x200m and medley relay teams also winning the right compete in Montreal.
Marshall was delighted she managed to overcome a poor display in the morning heats to book her place in the Great Britain party.
"I am really happy with that. The consistency is good as well," she said.
"Last year I had some really good ones and some shocking ones so hopefully this year the consistency is a lot better."

"I was hacked off this morning and then I got over myself and came down and did a reasonable job so I am happy."
David Carry was left shocked after achieving his qualifying mark.
"I just can't believe that time. I really wasn't feeling that great coming in to this competition," he said.
"But I had a word with my coach and he said that 3:48 is always going to hurt and I had that thought in my head all the way.
"Getting under 3:50 is an enormous achievement for me. To suddenly do it and by that margin is pretty exciting."
Ten swimmers had already achieved the tough qualification marks to earn provisional selection for the team at the trials in Manchester in March.
Both Katy Sexton and Mark Foster have one more chance to book a place on the plane to Montreal.
Sexton failed to get the qualification time for the 100m backstroke and is now left with just the 200m.
Foster is pinning his hopes in the 50m freestyle after he came up short in the butterfly.
